although I have not gone outside to see if the lights turn on when I do use it. Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to have another dead battery. And yes I searched and didn't find anything on this particular situation. Has this auto vent timed feature given anyone else a dead battery?. Does anybody know about this auto vent feature? Do I have to turn off the headlights when I am scheduling this? It seems BMW would have coded the car to not turn on the headlights and taillights and just turn on the ventilation system. I noticed that all the lights were on, Headlights taillights and the interior Idrive screen was on. I went out to my car one time when this feature was completing its scheduled venting activity. I thought this would be a nice feature with me living in Arizona. I was using the auto ventilation feature where you put in a time to have your car vent for 30 minutes. My feeling is they tell that to everyone just so the next time the customer gets a dead battery, The dealership doesn't have to replace the battery. They, The dealership stated day got a code for me leaving my parking lights on?:dunno: I'm not too sure that me leaving on parking lights, Which I don't remember doing would trigger a code. They stated the BMW dealership eight the cost and that BMW themselves would not warranty a situation like this. When I picked it up they had replaced the dead battery for new one and stated that everything checked out fine. I hope I wasn't wrong, but at this point I'm not so sure.I got a dead battery, jumped it, Drove it to the dealer. Alas, Apple doesn't make them like they used to, so when I got the Dell, I coughed up the $240 for WS pro, thinking it would be a similar experience, but with more memory and horsepower. Fusion on the MBP was an extremely stable and performant combination damn near flawless.
#AUTO TIMED SCREENSHOT PRO#
I had used VMware Fusion on a 2012 Macbook Pro 15 *daily* for the past 7 years, for professional full-time software development using a wide variety of Windows and Linux guests. WS running a single VM windowed or fullscreen on external HDMI display or on built-in LCD. Tested and reproduced on Ubuntu 18.04, Xubuntu 18.04, Ubuntu 16.04. Intel CPU power manager gnome extension (can repro with or without) (recommended by and installed with ubuntu-drivers)
#AUTO TIMED SCREENSHOT DRIVER#
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, driver 430.26, prime-select set to nvidia mode. To avoid losing data in the VM session, I have gotten into the habit of suspending all VMs and exiting WS before closing the laptop lid or leaving the computer for any length of time.ĭell G3 3779 laptop w 32GB RAM, running Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS (4.18.0-22-generic kernel), recently clean installed from official distribution. When WS is not running, the system operates 100% as expected, no issues with timed lock, wake on kbd/mouse, or timed suspend and resume. if WS is running, system does not suspend. System exhibits similar behavior for suspend on timeout - i.e. When mouse or keyboard is touched, the host immediately goes to black screen, and then the password prompt screen appears.
#AUTO TIMED SCREENSHOT FULL#
With host configured to go to lock screen after 15 minutes, if WS is running, system remains running at full power with display on.
